yeah, i still would have loved to see the itv sport channel business plan

we are gonna bring in money by showing division 1,2,and 3 games and this is gonna attract the average armchair fan to subscribe to us over sky

ITV Digital's product wasn't to bad. They had a Division 1 highlights programme every Saturday which was longer than the Premiership. Shame it went the year we entered Division One. We would have considerably more coverage.

Bloody godsend I say. When I moved here 12 years ago footie on the tv was virtually nil. The odd European cup game on ESPN and if you had the Mexican network then some action from South America.
Now, Sky comes to us via the Fox network and there is every European league avalable all day every day. With Sky sports news showing every goal in England on a Saturday, plus all the stories.
A dozen years ago my only Albion updates were from a 3 day old News of the World.

I never get bored, I've had sky for about 7 years now and in that time the channel rarely goes away form the sports channels.

Apart from the occasional flick to sky one for simpsons I leave my skybox on skysports news and then change to another channel for live games.

I couldn't imagine life without sky sports.

The worst thing about Div2 is the poxy little paragraph we're getting in the papers.Even going top will only get us 1 line more.

Aah,the heady days of Div1:nono:

Don't have Sky - don't watch much telly anyway so coughing up extra to watch less of a greater choice seems pointless. Televised football's OK but compared to being there it's a very, very poor substitute, so I try to get to as many live games as possible. I saw 75 live games last season - if I'm going to spend any time with the girlfriend it's probably not a good idea to subscribe to Sky Sports!

It also strikes me as a tiny bit of a con. You pay for Sky, then you pay again for Sky Sports, then for certain events on Sky Sports you pay again, if you so choose.
