That's got the goal of the season comp out the way then. You can't just score that sort of goal, that is class just pure class. He is/was the only striker we had at the club who could score a goal like that second. This is NOT a dig at Barnes in anyway shape or form but only a special player can do that.

It was goal of the day! But sky completely screwed up showing it, they switched from the studio to the full screen just before he made contact with the ball, and missed the actual moment he scored!

Last night I was wondering about Dobbie, what he could bring and how he'd improve the side. After seeing that goal I'm suddenly feeling much less interested in him. How on earth do you score that kind of goal? Ridiculous. Just hope CMS can keep the confidence over the break.
EDIT: Also remember Naylor and others talking about last night's signings as a statement of intent? I think today we saw CMS's statement of intent.
