For cast iron evidence by seeing the ball touching grass.
Indeed
There was no clear shot of the ball being grounded
I thought it was a try,everyone in the stadium thought it was a try,everyone watching at home thought it was a try
But thinking and seeing are two different things

I'm surprised TMO didn't overturn that. One image showed ball on ground on line and Scotland No. 12 - who has a clear view -punching the air.
I’ve always held up rugb use of TMO as the way VAR should be used - I.e. the referee is in charge - but this was awful - everyone knew it was a try from those pictures but rules is rules…
