The signs of touching affection between HWT and GT49er do highlight a relevant point. My much played copy of what became a Northern Soul classic - Be Young Be Foolish Be Happy - is on the B side of Hey Girl Don’t Bother Me by the Tams(1971) - but both tracks were originally 60s A sides.

For any who like relatively early Beatles music(I know it was simpler but I loved it) - many of their singles have fantastic B sides - She Loves You/I’ll Get You, I Want To Hold Your Hand/This Boy et al

I loved The Animals especially the two songs you mentioned, but the hairs on the back of neck standing up moment for me was this one.
Sorry if I'm detracting from the thread title, I think it's worth it for this live version of We Gotta Get Out of This Place.
