Singers who's voices you quite frankly hate, or are, in your opinion, really BAD

Yup, including the likes of Beyoncé too. That nasty,, nasal, mid Atlantic noise spouted by so many (especially) female singers. People fall over themselves saying how great they are at singing when rarely can they manage more than 2 or 3 notes forced through their noses. Then again, if they have nice eyes, fabulous breasts, long legs or are prepared to 'dance' in a pseudo pornographic short movie then Simon Cowell et al will say yes and bingo they're suddenly pop sensations.

Come of it, Beyonce honestly....

true but the less rational bit is that I actually despise them as people, despite knowing nothing about them other than their musical output

Well, I imagine it's possible they are really nice people and do a lot of excellent work for others and make a lot of children very happy at primary school discos, but the freedom to despise them is your absolute right in a free society - and, to a large extent, they've brought it upon themselves with their faceless, turgid, sappy MOR pieces of festering cheese.

Anyone who has to digitally-enhance their voices , well that's most of the modern day singers then and even though I would give her one I would include Kylie Minogue in that class !

I never liked Abba, the girls had a nasal harmony and their mis-pronounciation of English words was annoying.

Its got to be Rod Stewart. Also the Bee gees, did they sit there one evening, get a kick in the proverbial and start singing and thought is sounded good!

Axl Rose, he cant sing for toffee. The first album he got away with the "attitude" of the songs. After that his people were obviously so far up his bumhole they didn't point out that his caterwauling didn't suit the new material he was writing.
