He says they are great but I am of the opinion that they make music that should only be listened to I a room stuff with cotton wool where nothing can harm you and is tedious and boring.

I didn't mind Paul Simon as a solo artist. The stuff he did with (and for) Ladymith Black Mambazo was good.

Must be that wanker, Art Garfunkels, fault.

On my first ever Stateside expedition in 1989 we flew into Newark, NJ and as I looked out of the window of the Greyhound bus driving away from the airport I realised that we were on the New Jersey Turnpike, a mindblowing moment for a teenage S&G fan from little ole Blighty. Needless to say I started counting the cars post haste.
