Worked with a guy many years ago called Mark Christmas had a sister and yes she was called Mary

I worked with a guy who had a relative with the same surname, and "Ava Mary" as christian names - thus Ava Mary Christmas.

I also worked with a guy called Steve Bentley who married a latin lady who's first name was "Mercedes" - Mrs Mercedes Bentley

I went to school with Ronald Fink

I saw an Antique shop in Cornwall owned by a Mr Robin *******

I also worked with a guy called Alan who had to sign his cheques as "A. Pratt"

I also worked with a lovely lady who's name was "Amber Badger" - which is just a lovely name

... and as her husband Jonnie once said (after a interesting pastry cooking exercise), "so if you want to make your doughnuts look like fanny's, thats what you need to do"

I have taught Turkish English learners called Fatih (pronounced Farty), Rashit and Ufuk. I have on good authority a colleague who taught a Korean called Bum Suk.

I used to work with a chap who kept a list of the silly names he had come across through the years. I have more than a sneaking suspicion that most of them were made up, but always really wanted "Ruby Doubidoux" to be a real person
