Not who we might sign, but the question of timing. As a club I'm curious to know if we are looking at all the rumoured signings with a view to completing our business today? As a cash rich( I think) club with no PSR issues are we trying to steal a march (no Solly jokes please) on most of the rest of the Prem with the prospect of completing two or three signings before July when other clubs' finances may relax under PSR rules and they can rejoin the transfers game?

I would imagine completing as much of our business as possible before 1st July will potentially give us better value with clubs having to sell to meet ffp deadlines

I suppose what I was getting at was whether we might be able announce a couple of deadline day transfers this afternoon ahead of the PSR strapped clubs joining the game next week and in to July. If rumours are to be believed :ROFLMAO: we seem to have firm interest, offers on the table for more players than Barber suggested was likely.

So, the transfer window SLAMS shut in less than 6 hours, and we haven’t singed anyone, apart from 2 school kids?

BarberOBE, out!!!!

When Palace get kicked out, and we’re up against the best teams in Europe, in the conference league, we’ll regret only 2 new signings, and a squad with an average age of 17.
