I reckon we'd be able to get him on a season long loan.

Last night he looked class on the ball.Never gave the ball away and exactly what our midfield has needed.

I think he loks very similar to a Mr Zamora in stature etc.
Looked comfortable despite not even training with the team.
I think its unlikely we will get him, but then, the same was said of Knight, there is always hope.

yeah but Knight was never breaking into the Chelski first team, Lehman is with Fulham and has been tipped to do so soon. He is with us merely for match fitness like Kuipers was to Hull. No chance have we got of signing him as Fulham wont want a highly rated youngster gone for nothing. IMO of course!

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
There is no intention of signing him as he has been told by Chris Coleman that he has a future at FFC.
However I have heard that there is a strong possibility that we could be offered him on a season long loan as I believe Watford and AN Other first division club were both told that he could go for a year.

Excellent result. I thought they relied on pacy wingers ( rodney Jack spent a lot of his time heading off to the wings) and put in a host of crosses but didn't have the class to beat Butters and Pethick.

I thought the game changed on the save made by FDM in the second half. I think it was 2-1 to us at the time and Kuipers made a brilliant save from Kitson/Other forward. We then went on and could have made it 4 or 5.

Mcphee is getting better and better, Lehman was a different class ( when he played the ball out of defence he look wide and played it to where our players were, not like some of the hoofs we have been used to of late) Knight is sensational and his goal was an absolute peach. Chippy played well and so did the Welsh wonder. OGH I am not sure about, He does seem to struggle at the moment. The defence was very solid and Butters is a revelation.

All in all a good night to be a brighton fan

PS For all those who doubt Falmer, look at Hull's attendance in the Third last night...just under 21,000! superb

If we can get Lehman on loan for the season that would be marvellous. Good old Sir Stevie, by Christ does he know what he is doing!!!!

Just think what he would be like after he's trained with the team, and know even more about them.

Exactly the type of player we need, as I suggested in an earlier post, although I think I got the Fulham players mixed up. Both were tall midfielders.

Now there's a good shout ! From the recent experiences we have had, making Steve Coppell feel like staying at the Albion after he takes us up to the 1st Division is paramount. Players on loan may come and go, but it's understood that the better ones won't be leaving Prem clubs to stay at Brighton until we are contending for promotion from the 1st Division.

It's SC that's making this happen for us, and it's SC who ultimately deserves the kudos.

Let's enjoy the time he's here.

Highly unlikely to sign him as he was very close to Fulham 1st team prior to injury - however a season loan would be very beneficial to both parties.
