SHREK 2 - absolute quality

[Easy 10]

What a superb sequal.
Anyone who even moderately enjoyed the first one will absolutely love this - just top class from start to finish. Antonio Banderos as Puss in Boots was hilarious, and Eddie Murphys Donkey was on top form again. Like all great "family films", the humour works on a child and adult level, with some great gags throughout. Some wry nods at lots of other films (Flashdance, Mission Impossible...even Alien).

Bloody brilliant. Disney would be dead without Pixar.

I have just watched a programme on Sky movies showing the making of Shrek 2.

I loved the original and this looks even better.
What a brilliant mix of characters and wonderful to see Julie Andrews back in the movies.

saw it ages ago and kids seen it loads,ace film much better than 1st,ive got kill1 and 2 on double dvd havent watched either are the worth watching tonite instead of the boring footy

Watched it last night on video we all enjoyed it although I felt it was a lot funnier for an adult than a child. Funniest bit was the rescue from the dungeon

Have to agree on everything said. I always thought Monsters Inc was better than Shrek, but both were wicked. Shrek 2 was awesome - better than the first IMO. Donkey is still the best character. The bit when he gets transformed into the white horse is brilliant
