There are bound to be a few clubs interested in him and his price is going to be at its highest at the moment.

I would keep him because he is our only real out and out goal scorer but if he keeps spitting his dummy is he going to damage team spirit?

We could also use the money to sign someone like Neil Harris or McPhee from Port Vale. Though having McPhee and McPhee up front might be confusing.

What do you think?

If offered a good price(as we only get half) then we should sell, in my opinion.

Personally, I think if there are any clubs that would want to take him, we should look to sell him. His attitude and work rate don't match up to what McGhee is trying to do with the side, and yeah, we could use it to sign a harder working and/or better championship centre-forward.

I wonder what he thinks about Adam Virgo's contribution to the front line at the moment as well? Surely he must be bordering on embarrassed by it?

He was disappointing toward the end of last season..had a cracking game in Cardiff but not impressive before that. Seems to have an attitude and has not done much this season apart from get pissed off when he is subbed off.

I think we should keep him but if a decent offer came in then sell. I hear Cardiff are looking at him as a replacement for Earnshaw. If this is true then take the money. We could force their hand a bit and get a decent fee and use it to buy someone else and sign Nikolas permanently.

Can't see us getting any sensible offers given his current form. It's better to hang on to him for a bit yet.

The danger being if he keeps playing shit the offers will get less and less.

I would hang on to him for the while. Also Steve McPhee doesn't play for Port Vale any more, he signed for some Portuguese team on a free in the summer IIRC.

Gotta give the little man a chance!

I mean he has only had 4 games at this level and he certainly has got the touch, i feel he just needs a goal then he is on his way!

It may be Steve Brooker he is on about.

Any scouts looking beyond last season's goal tally and watching Leon this season wouldn't touch him with a bargepole - even if they were allowed to get one into the ground with a safety certificate.

The Argus revealed the other day that Cullip and McGhee haven't been offered new contracts either because of the financial bleeding and future uncertainty of the Falmer process.

I think people should relax with the Knight speculation.

I am relaxed. If he's not delivering then he can go somewhere else, fee or no fee.

If he finds his confidence and ability again, then hooray. If he goes somewhere else because he can't then that frees salary for someone else to come in.

I trust McGhee to to find what motivates Leon, let's just hope it doesn't take most of the season.

where do we find someone who is going to get 15 goals a season if he goes?

he would go for next to nothing as his contract is up and can start talking to other clubs in 3 months

tough one. i say stick buy him for a while. its not his abiltity but his f***ing lazy attitude that annoys me. you have virgo fighting for the club and knight who just plods about at the moment. i know its slightly harsh but its becoming more true and true.

he wont score in open play until a penalty situation arises!

Who else at the club would you expect to score 15 goals this season?

Becasues of the 50% sell on to Chelsea we wouldnt get enough to sign a decent non league player let alone one to score that number of goals in the premiership.

We should consider selling him when he reaches BZ total for a season until then let hiomj play out his contract and the new one that is being prepered and offered to him.

What value is he ?

£500K max of which we would get £250K I suppose.

Maybe time to sell on. I like him but just wish he would get more involved.
