I spoke to a Blackpool fan after the game yesterday. He told me that Dobbie has about 1 good game in 5, but that he was clearly up for it against us. So there you are, he is just as inconsistent as he was for us.

Dobbie was never played in his best position which is dropping deep behind the striker ,finding space and picking the ball up (not literally before some retard comments on that) and running at goal.Hollaway played him there and so did Blackpool Saturday.Also he was mainly just a substitute getting a few minutes here and there.How was he expected to perform well?.Cant remember how many he started but it wasn't many.

The negative campaign against another one of our players who gets hounded out only to show us what we have missed out on (Sam Vokes, Craig Davies, CKR and so on) players who then do well at another club

I wonder if the obsession some have with having a figure of hate and a self given mission from God to drive players out who they don't consider worthy of being here (despite probably being the best we could afford at the time) and the subsequent targeting of these players for abuse happens at the clubs they then do well at?

Because they didn't have a flying start or didn't look that good when first coming back from injury seems to be all it takes to start another campaign of hate towards a player at our own club` - I just don't get why, what do they expect to achieve, it certainly isn't in our clubs best interest and often leads to the players feeling unwanted (ie not a fans favourite) and therefore probably not willing to put as much effort in and / or be willing to leave on a free (Murray) or when the first offer accepted by the board comes in (Barnes) rather than being desperate to get a new contract and stay as long as they can.

How many of the players starting against Blackpool do we even have a song for? - There is really only one song for Ulloa and it seems more about Murray going than Ulloa himself (bet he's glad he's here then )

This season has been the least supportive from thr fans in terms of creating an atmosphere at the Amex and we have in turn seen poorer results - Is there a connection?

A little bit of it has been that the types of player you mentioned have tended to be younger players that are still young, are still developing and learning their trade and yet to reach their potential however some of our fans fail to accept this and expect them to be the finished article straight away and don't want to give them the chance to learn, grow as a player and improve.

The reason we get these types of players when they arn't the finished article is because for a long time it would be the only time in their careers that we would have been able to even come close to getting them to play for us.

The good thing is some youngsters are being given time to show what they can do (Ince, March) yet others haven't been afforded this courtesy too (Obika, Barnes for a long time, Vokes when here, Wood when here, Craig Davies when here, and until the last game or so, even Lingard.

Agree with much of this. It was why I said we "have no idea of how we want to play them."
