Should the players be allowed to take today off after last nights performance.

Newbury, Berkshire.
If I was manager, I would have the players in today and make them watch the match video, point out exactly where their mistakes lead to losing the advantage, and generally have a bit of a group discussion about who should have been doing what when we let Brentford take over the game.

Not suggesting that they should be putting extra training in, but it seems that tactics were either forgotten about, or that there wasn't an adequate ' plan B ' to deal with being a goal down so early. Surely we need to start analysing what went wrong as soon as possible ?

Should Booker be reading them the riot act, or letting them take the day off ?

Send 'em on a 10 mile run over the downs followed by a cycle race incorporating Ditchling Beacon (uphill). At least they'll have an excuse on Saturday:lol:

I remember Micky had them in at 9am Wednesday morning after a defeat to Scunthorpe on a cold Tuesday night...

The same should apply today.

It really was a night for a Micky half-time roasting.

That is of course in the old-fashioned sense of the word before various footballers who we're not allowed to mention perverted the meaning.

Good point - I thought that when I saw Booker's comment on the official site "we'll be putting things right on Thursday": why not now?!

I think this might well sum up Booker's problem - he's too much one of the lads to read the riot act when he needs to.

Sad - but the silver lining from last night is that Bob goes out of the equation. Hope he stays as coach though.

Too right. Why wait till Thursday. Get 'em in to training today, and get it sorted.

I'm at work Today after watching that crap and I think they should be in as well after that disgraceful performance.
