I don't get this. Isn't it trespassing? Seems there were a load more travellers waiting to get on the site too.

They (the members of the travelling community that take the piss) really don't help the rest of em. I wonder what the law abiding travellers think of them.
law abiding travellers :lolol: why dont you ask him.

My Father-in-law had some Gypsy scum (yes 'GYPSY' - I make no apologies for not being PC!) on his land once. Shitting all over it and making a general mess. When he went to the Police expecting some support and help, they told him they have rights and he must provide them with toilet facilities!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What stupid law is that!?!

Couple on dozen on Lancing Green as I drove through, half on the grass now blocked from escaping to any road by 3 full skips of hardcore & half in the car park not able to get onto the grass & looking confused as on Council land. I gave them a nice big toot in case the ones with curtains shut were trying to get some kip

There was a lot of a-holes with caravans going through Shoreham High St at a fair old rate of knots last night. Don't know whether that was them.

Love that the rozzers can put their riot gear on and get stuck into a few students at a peaceful demo, turn out in force, 20 meatwagons, draft in officers from other forces and happy to break the law themselves (ie pushing over innocent people) but for some reason won't go near 50 Do As You Likeys who take over private land. Baffling.

I would not let your dog run loose north of Shoreham on the levels either. It might get blasted to bits. Fair dues as it was never common land on the levels (arguable as it was under water). It was common land on the downs and a lot of it still is.

Who were the original gypsy squatters?
