Just turned down West Brom. Surprised as no one else wants him

Does make you wonder how likely he was to have ever come to us if he can't agree terms with West Brom.

True. I suppose it could also be other things (which coaches he brings in, other responsibilities he wants/doesn't want etc).

I thought it was reported somewhere (perhaps Sky, perhaps I read it), that he wanted better terms for Les Ferdinand and Chris Ramsey.

Reading the WBA forum it would seem they weren't willing to pay Les Ferdinand and Chris Ramsey the wages they wanted and sack the present incumbents.

Cheers :lolol:

Can you imagine if that had been us?

An NSC meltdown of biblical scale!

You can't help but laugh when it's not happening to you

I actually had to Google Irvine to find out who he was...

I'm struggling to see how you go from holding talks with Moyes, to giving the job to his fking tea boy!!

This is the most positive comment I could find:

Im going to give him his chance at the end of the day.

Not happy at the appointment in the slightest but he has to be supported

Do we know if Sherwood even applied/was ever interviewed for our manager's position?

The more the managerial merry-go-round plods on the more I think we've probably done okay with Sami. Premiership Southampton got Koeman and his sketchy record with multiple clubs and Premiership West Brom got Irvine, a very underwhelming appointment. Certainly seems like the majority of Baggies fans on their forum sure didn't want Sherwood to be appointed either.

Looks like Tim could be running out of options.

Are Hibs still looking for a manager:D

Another surprising appointment, some of the big 'British' names must be resigned to the fact they've got to bide their time until the Autumn now.
