Good suggestion. Another really good real ale pub is the Rutland.

I'd definitely avoid the Howard (the suggested pub in Saturday's programme).

Spot on, I'm regularly in Sheffield for work and this is a cracking boozer - up to 15 ales on cask. As already mentioned, The Fat Cat and Kelham Island Tavern are a treat and very close to each other. the Riverside, just around the corner from those two is a good ale pub too - and does good food.

Much better to stay in town than head up to Hillsborough.
