First new signing announced yesterday is an Italian geezer by the name of Emmanuel Gabrielli. A centre half who's been on trial for the last month or so & has impressed enough to have been offered a 4 month contract. Apparently he's been setting Italy's Serie C2 - the equivalent of our League 2 - alight.
Arsenal were on the verge of signing him a couple of years back for £200k but the deal fell through.
And the BIGGIE just announced on Radio Sheffield. We have signed .. wait for it .. wait for it .. FOR £50 GRAND .. the one .. the only .. Danny Cadamarteri!
Not exactly signings to set the league alight but I suppose we'll have to wait & see if Warnock can get the besy out of them. Cadamarteri especially.
