Martin Perry was on fans phone earlier this season and he said a share issue was something they would look into when they get Falmer, i.e. after his pay out!

Ouch!

Stand back Stinky. The NSC lemmings are trundling towards you.:lolol:

The process wasn't started six years ago! You're suggesting doing it now, the problems would still be the same - Dick Knight has covered this comprehensively over and over again, we can't afford it right now!

Perhapse the investment of £200k in the last six years would have lead to us not having a "black hole" now. The truth of the matter is that the Directors are clinging-on to their investment and are fighting its dilution. They prefer to beg and get mugs to cough-up than give something in return. (No offence intended to those of you who have donated).

Point is share issues don't always pay out and then you have the problem that the club can become prey to Malcolm Glazer type business men. Doing it after Falmer makes some sense because there are assets to raise the share issue against. With no assets and with indecision regarding the stadium situation the actual share price would not be attractive to anybody but the ardent fan and may not raise what was projected in the first issue. This goes back to timing again, you can forecast but you cannot see the future, nobody foresaw the ITV digital collapse which affected a couple of muted share floatations at the time.

Could we stop Mr Archer buying shares?

Now that would be an interesting dilema for Mr Knight.:glare:

would assume not if its a public issue...he is so rich now he could by the lot.....not that I think he would

Do you think the fact we have turned down his sponsorship has hurt his feelings. Or do you think he P1ssed himself laughing at our small mindednessas he knows we will be playing half of our games sponsored by his mob and that we have cut of our noses to give evryone else a £60k advantage over us. Not that we need the money.

Look fuckwits theres a simple answer to this that's been in the public domain for quite a while. A share issue would be a waste of everyones time and money.

So would all the sad little anti-knight halfwits (yes i mean you st bellend) sod off and find another message board for your sad little conspiracy theories.

Which 'Falmer pay out' is this then? ???

The scenario was muted before.....stadium gets go ahead...stadium costs refunded to the club by stadium Ltd...value of DK shareholding goes up as black hole filled by kind A & L donations...he gets a nice little earner on selling out

Exactly - "perhaps" - that's the kind of speculation and guesswork you, as a fan, can afford to carry out - the Board have to do it with real money, and can't afford to try everything you reckon would stand a slight chance of helping us.

Ah..... the DK will profit from Falmer Conspiracy Theory......good timing Mr Auditor.

I doubt if MP is conspiring to sell out. He's a "life long Albion supporter"!!!!!!

for f*** sake, you have a pretty twisted view of the directors. If Knight is interested in a payout, why not leave the running to someone else and get on with his career in media/PR/whatever that would have been far more lucrative.

Or sell his shares onto one of the many investors waiting in the wings.

You don't mind coming across as an irritating little wind-up merchant then? It's just occasionally you do ask some sensible questions about the Supporters' Trust that contradicts this rubbish?

If only we could "mute" your scenarios, but I've a feeling you enjoy the wind-up too much, so I reckon we're destined to keep hearing you and your ilk, if only as irrelevant background noise.

I am not one of those who criticises Dick Knight but people are allowed to be sceptical if they want to and shouldnt be beaten down by other people on here.

Surely the best way is to just wait until they are proved wrong not slate them for having a different opinion to you.

London Irish. You obviously dont mind coming across as a 'know it all condescending prick'.

Only answering an earlier question....

If you think its a wind up dont rise to it...
then again you are always right....
