I dont know because I never used one but they were suggested to me. I think you can get demos of old version so they will work but just be a bit limited as to what you can do.

Best bet is to download a demo and see. At the very least it will be something you can mess around with and pick up how to use quark.

Try Kazaa.
Ther's loads of free (full) copies for downlaod on there, for mac and PC

You will find Quark on suprnova.org this is a P2P site and you first need to download Bit Torrent (use google) first. This site is unlike Kazaa because you will get no rubbish or virus infections. Yes it is a little slower and you must have broadband but its a brillant site for, software, games music and best of all films most being dvd screener rips. The more of us who use this site the quicker it will be. Give it a try.
