Got it for the rugby, finding the football a bonus - watching the Blue Square mostly... also, in Ireland it has F1 with very good commentators and no ads - much better than the UTV coverage. And GAA... costs €18.99 here IIRC.

Even on satellite you don't need to pay Sky a penny - £20 extra down and Setanta can send you a Freesat card with their channels added.

And another "oh" - over here we get 50% more, "top-rank" Premiership games, 3pm Saturday kickoffs - explains much of the price difference.

Yeah I reckon so. Reasonable, if unspectac' punditry, broadcasts in widescreen (a rare plus!) and enough footy to keep most happy...only thing is they don't seem to have the 'big clashes', but tbh 'lesser games' tend to offer more entertainment more oft' than not.

If you don't have SKY give it a try.
If you do and intend to carry on having it, you're probably alright as you are.

I just subscribed a few weeks ago, pay £10 a month, been happy with the amount of matches, there's live footy on most nights. Not quite as slick as Sky just yet but I'm happy for a tenner.
