Anyone applying?

Deliver and oversee the offensive and defensive set piece strategy
Come and join the Seagulls for the 2025/26 season and beyond with our men’s first team as a set piece specialist!

In this role, you will lead the development of our set-piece strategy, designing and delivering innovative coaching practices to bring it to life on the pitch. You’ll conduct in-depth analysis of opposition behaviours and patterns to identify strengths, exploit weaknesses, and stay ahead of emerging trends. Your insights and creativity will play a key role in helping BHAFC set the standard and strive for excellence.

What we are looking for
You will have proven experience in delivering in an elite men’s first team environment and a strong interest in set-piece innovation and delivery. In terms of qualification, you will need to hold a UEFA A Licence. You will have expectational communication skills, be a collaborator and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

I’d be more interested in being a snidey bastard for £27k a year.

I was going to say 'Gis a job, I can do that' to both adverts but @Cheshire Cat beat me to it 3 hours ago. :lolol:

So the club are looking to hire someone full time to send out s**ty emails to STH's who haven't put their tickets on the exchange? I'm all for encouraging people to put their tickets on the exchange, as I buy them. A very quick look for the Liverpool match has shown me that I can get 2 together in N1D, in WSL I could buy tickets so I'm a seat behind Jnr. The exchange for the match is open to purchase history now. All my Europa League tickets were on the exchange. Most of my tickets are bought on the exchange. Are there that many matches that touts can actually tout for, when away fans can just buy a ticket on the exchange if they've bought a ticket to one match before?
I only became a member when I noticed that cat A games were members only on the exchange. I may have mentioned this a 'few' times but I get tickets last min & don't care who we're playing. If the exchange is opening to anyone with purchase history on Cat A matches what is the point of me being a member when I'm not a recipient of ticket shares. Jnr is so I'll pay for his, pointless for me though. 🤷‍♀️

The club have a 'lost' generation, I've captured 2 of them that have a 9 year age gap. Neither of them would be able to afford to go if I didn't subsidise them one way or another. Our fanbase is getting older & there are a lot of under 40's missing.

Apart from very few, games are sold out. I have sat in most parts of ground and can count on one hand away supporters in home end that have made themselves visable. Is it realy a problem or is PB thonking he is missing out on selling STs on exchange at matchday price. Of course I would never pass my phone over but I know plenty that do and would think that would be hard to stop. I think it is sad when all but a few games are sold out PB has to go down that route. Interesting whoever takes it on will be out of a job unless they find a lot of people. Club should be happy they are selling out not worrying about a few tickets passed on

It seems a sad sign of the times that the club deems it's worth £27K to stop someone lending a mate or relative his season ticket (that has been fully paid for) if he can't go one week.
I'd far rather go after genuine touts, including firms like Ticketmaster, who are basically legalised ticket touts.
So if you don't employ people like this how do you stop the touts?

I imagine the role includes this? Why do you think it doesn’t?

27k a year for a grass when players who barely make a few minutes a game earn more than that a week.

You’re going to get a bitter idiot unfortunately.
As opposed to the minimum wage, where you potentially get the biggest idiot in the class for 25 grand 😂

I’m glad I’m knocking 61 👍

It depend on the terms of the job. To take on the big time touts, and the likes of Ticketmaster would require rather more exprperience and legal knowledge than £27K a year will buy you. For satisfying PB's apparent obsession with people innocently lending their ticket to a friend or family member, £27K for a low level snitch seems about right.

3 months into his new job at Brighton and finally the set pieces coach Moocho Haddocko has convinced Bart not to Dive before the ball is kicked, it's a football learning curve but Bart has nailed it.

Done a Frexit, now in London
Feels like an area we've been lacking in for a while now. I hope they get the appointment right.

What tickets are ending up in wrong hamds Surely with ganes sold out is easy to trace orignal buyer
1) STs
2) Matchday tickets assumed sold to Albian members
3) Tickets bought on exchange.
Surely if it is 1 ST will get banned and if 2 or 3 club will know who purchased.
