I wanted to go and see the Air and Super Furries gig, that would have been COOL.

Beta band and Thirteen Senses on the main stage.

The former were good, the latter had to pull out after two tracks because their lead singer was throwing up backstage somewhere, having probably eaten one of the radioactive-looking pasties that were on sale.

Dreadzone played in a small danceroom/bar and were funny as f***.

The venue itself was superb, with all the domes lit up and stuff

Indeed, indeed. They got a good ovation from the crowd at the end of their set, although I got the distinct impression that 90% of the crowd had never heard of them before.

shame it was their last. one of the best gigs i've ever seen was The Beta Band at the Fridge in Brixton.
