...or lack of it. Anyone else think it was ridiculous not to have the fans properly separated, especially in a stadium which had thousands of empty seats?

Saw it kicking off a bit in the lower tier. I was at the front of the upper and there was just one elderly steward between us and the Wolves fans. Needless to say it got a little 'tasty' before the end and could easily have got seriously nasty...

I'm sure what happened inside the stadium contributed to what happened outside afterwards. Why no proper segregation?

They probably werent expecting any problems, why there was a lack of segregation. We still had those sheets and lines of stewards when Peterborough and Barnsley visited - and they wouldnt of hurt a fly !!

Perhaps they thought that grown ups could behave like grown ups?

It wasn't 'tasty' before the end, it was 40 year old men acting like spoilt kids.

Pathetic that football fans require segregation, but there you go.

To be honest there are quite a few total inbreds still going to football these days, I think it would take a generation get rid of segregation.

Mind you it is a lot better than it used to be

Well judging by what has been reported to of happened by our fans after the match against some fans of other teams - thats why there is segregation so it doesnt happen in the stadium.

Of course it isnt always needed though.

I was in the upper tier , there was no need for segregation , a few of the stewards looked like they held SIA badges.

There were a few instances of their fans running right up to the barrier and being pushed back when they scored towards the top of the upper tier.
One teenage lad a few rows in front of me, wound up a Wolves fan so much by just laughing at him, he tried to get across into the Albion section too.

I was in the lower tier.
I got a couple of funny looks from people below me as I was cheering and shouting during the match.
Must of been my Wolverhampton accent :lolol:
I'm a Brighton fan from Wolverhampton btw.

I was sat in the wolves section in the lower tier. All seemed like a load of handbags from where I was sitting.
