Bell barely able to lay a bat on the ball at the moment, no footwork from either of these batsmen. Worrying.

It's just pathetic how many times will be 30 odd for 3 before action is taken? It's just not acceptable, the same thing happened in Cardiff just got lucky that Root hit his majestic knock. Basically at the moment Root is carrying the batting order with a bit of help from Cook to a lesser degree.

Ed Balls, regardless of your views of his politics, is an entertaining guest on TMS.
It's a shame that he wasn't able to project his personality whilst he was in politics. He seems like a pretty intelligent and solid individual.....in politics he was just another stuffed suit imo.

Perhaps it's because in politics, a bit like on NSC, we act a little differently to normal?

That's where they are going wrong! The public would surely trust politicians who were themselves more than those acting the role of a politician.

Ed Balls has gone up massively in my estimation recently, his speech after losing his seat was heartfelt and his TMS interview showed he's a good guy.

Balls for PM!

Bellend out.

Disgusting and lazy cricket from Stokes.

Should never be in that quickly to begin with, but you must do better than walking idly for a run.

The top order has been a shambles for ages now, I know we were probably going to lose this anyway but the lack of fight is just pitiful.

Time to look at the positives.....................can focus on the Open golf final round tomorrow rather than channel hop.
