Bit unfair, what makes you not a plastic fan? Why did you not get one?

this. anyone who's been going to matches the last few years had plenty of chance of getting a st, tho do feel sorry for those who don't have the cash/regular time....

thats fair enough, good to see someone with priorities (family first etc) i was in a similar situation for few years at withdean, but wouldnt assume they are all plastics that have taken, like you, people have circumstances and situations of their own

At the end of the day. We all had a chance. It was all of these plastics that allowed the team to be built and the wages to keep flowing. Success has meant that people are interested. Would people be coming in numbers if we had lost every match so far and not had teams like Liverpool coming to the Amex. It would have been the money from the plastics keeping things ticking over. I understand what you mean about money. Things are hard and decisions have to be made, but I (as a goldstone/withdean/priestfield and now Amex albion fan) welcome all fans old and new.

Well that can't be right jack as we virtually sold out season tickets long before we got promoted.

Championship football was far from being guaranteed:thumbsup:

To be fair, everyone is in different positions at different times. I was lucky enough to be able to afford one, I know a few people who couldn't and I would classify them as proper Brighton fans, but that's life. It doesn't always work out your way. Hopefully you can get an ST for next season, when maybe some people will drop off for any number of reasons, but maybe you'll have to wait. This is what supporting a big club is like. We need all fans, plastic, glass, whatever.

These are local people who never watch their teams live, yes plastic fans who now have a local quality side to watch.Probably 70% of football fans in this country are plastic and 90% of kids support the big 4/5,thats the normal these days.

I am number 720, and I joined the list two days before the posh game. However, you can add 500 to that number due to multiple applications.
