Silly Question, but all those who can't get to Falmer for a presentation as they don't have the time, how do you expect to get down for the matches themselves? If i wanted a season ticket that badly I would make every effort to get to a presentation.
Presentations are not at weekends, most football matches are saturdays:glare:

I know its a massive thing being a new stadium etc,but to drive for 4 hours just to pick a seat is a bit to much:D

Also - why insist on attendance at Falmer? Probably to explain the various seat options, pricing and so on. Can anyone remember the reasons given for having to attend?

I'm pretty sure that its partly to try and give you the hard sell on buying a Private Seat Licence. Tho that part of the presentation is in fact oddly weak.

I phoned today and the young guy said White members were not allowed to book presentations.....until they go on general release beginning of March........confused.com

Really want my presentation now but unsure how to get one!

I just find it strange that it seems different people at the club are saying different things. I phoned last week (as a white member) booked my presentation and was told anyone on the database could do this. And why isn't there anything on the website saying so.....?

I'm sure there must be any amount of wise guys out there already who have just turned up on a random day with a white member number, swerved the presentation completely, and just gone straight to the ticket booking place. It don't seem particularly joined up. And the ticket bookers show zero interest in, say, collecting your 'mandatory' form saying which form of transport you intend using to get to/from the stadium.

I've only ever been a white member and I've been given a letter inviting me to book a presentation. So anyone on the database can definitely do it now...

They might be clamping down on people signing up to white with no ticket history simply to beat the general sale, but I doubt they are. I'm guessing the guy at the ticket office Dapper spoke to just got it wrong.

Will call again tomorrow morning at 9am and insist my presentation is organised.

Moved three months ago so the letter may be at the old address.

Ive been a white member since the start of the scheme. even used to be a member of the original AMS, so maybe the lad made a mistake. Not good though.

Well,I live in Taunton and have been invited to a presentation.I definitely want a ticket but cannot attend a presentation AND I want to sit with friends who live locally, one of whom has NOT been offered a presentation as he is not a member or current st holder. All we want them to do is sell us some seats together, sign the dds and give them the deposit. But it seems too hard to arrange, and the season ticket helpline alluded to on previous posts did not give me the courtesy of a reply to my email.

Book a presentation in your name then get your local mate to go in your place with all the forms filled out and everyone's details.

Still stick with the 12 / 13k total including 1901

Pretty good considering although I expect the club really thought we may shift the lot but that was unrealistic

Average crowd will be up around the 15 / 17k mark with I expect a few sell outs and a few 12k's

13k including 1901? We have sold over 7k excluding 1901 before any kind of general sale / non-STH sale. As far as I know, 1st March is the earliest appointments for anyone on the database, that doesn't have a STH this year

I'm still thinking they will sell out. Possibly not if we remain in League One, but if we achieve promotion then I think there will be a surge of general interest especially if the marketing team goes into overdrive throughout Sussex!

I always predicted we'd sell the 17,000 season tickets that the club were hoping to shift. By the time they go on general sale next week, 10-11,000 of the seats will already be sold. If that has to be revised downwards, it won't be by more than 1,000. It will certainly be far more than the 12-13,000 that Dougal is guessing, IMO.

I'm of the opinion that there are an awful lot of football fans (rather than rabid BHA fans) who want to see good football in a good stadium on their doorstep. The direct debit payment plan makes it very affordable and the team's form and the quality managerial set up will also prove attractive to these people.

I agree, think when the fixture list comes out, a nice juicey tie against west ham/west brom/wolves or whoever will shift afew more.

When you dont have to go for presentations to book tickets will help, I reckon after a few pints and maybe watching abit of the albion on the tv/dvd loads of people will phone up and book a seat... might not remember it in the morning mind!!!

16k+ at a minimun I reckon

As you say though, they don't really give it the hard sell. The bloke talks about it for 5 minutes then you go back to talking about the stadium.

One thing which might pass NSC by is that for alot of people this will be the first time they've heard alot of the details about the AMEX. We're all on here every day getting updates from natterjack, everest, jack straw etc so most of what they say in the presentation is old news to us but to people not on NSC it will be valuable info.

Whatever the underlying reason I'm glad they've done it. It can only help the atmosphere if it avoids the situation we have at withdean where everyone is mixed togeather. I'm pretty sure after hearing Martin Perry's presentation I'm not going to end up next to some old doris or a bobble hatter in the north

You honestly believe there will a "few 12ks" next season?

There is only one way that is going to happen: Albion don't get promoted, Gus moves on, Thicky is re-hired and we spend the entire season staring at relegation to division 4.
