so.... how much are we going to have to fork out for the final season at the theatre of trees?

i would hope no increase over this season and the 5 month payment option is still available.

Mine last season (u21) was £140 i think, but then its always been fairly cheap at withdean for me. Anything around that price and i'll definately be renewing.

The 5 month payment thing is the most important bit for me.

Where do you sit?

I'm thinking moving our tickets from C to H.

There have been countless threads on this before, I think the club will tap into the feel good factor around the club at the moment and put in a small rise of about 5% so there is not a huge leap in prices when we go to Falmer.

I sit in H, people knock it, and to be honest there is a select few who you really do wonder why they go, but it means i can stand for most of the game, and personally i prefer standing. We now know the people infront of us fairly well, which helps, and dont see the point in moving.

140 quid last season for H? Not bad at all! I know what you man, some people there are a bit... :shootself but on the whole, its a bit of a laugh, its a chance to stand and sing and have a little bit of fun.

you've posted countless threads about the same 2 jokes before, I'm hoping the moderators will tap into the "what a sad unfunny man" factor and ask you to desist.

I love it there... its a bit of atmosphere.

Bad songs are better than no songs

When will the club release prices?

Exactly.
I'd rather be stood and get behind the team, which i like to do by singing, others dont, which i can accept. (Oh and im not one of those who joins in the petty songs, seeing as "we have running water" seems to pop up every week)

No you can't stand!

Do you remember about 21 yearss ago there was a football match where people were standing and 96 of them didn't go home.

Standing is not allowed at football matches and H block is full of spanners who just stand and when I was there we constantly had stewards asking them to sit and then the Stewards got in the way while I was trying to watch the game.

I'd love to sit in a singing stand but there so many fools around that I've moved to the North stand

I see your point, and obviously my respect goes out to the families and all that, seeing as someone i know had a family member that died.. but Hillsborough was slightly different to standing most weeks in H block.

I sit in H block and it's a good laugh we try to create a bit of atmosphere with balloons and beach balls and singing I would rather be trying to do my bit to enjoy myself and help other people enjoy it and get behind the team than sitting somewhere else where most people sit in silence the whole game and just slag players off when they make a mistake

Perkino,

With all due respect - standing IS allowed at many football matches, as it is at concerts and festivals where the crowd is also prone to sudden surges. It has been established by now that the 96 did not die soley because they were stood on their feet. Without wishing to drag up the whole debate again...

funnily enough i do remember it seeing as i was there, difference now is that with all seater stadia there is no way it could happen again, there's these things called "seats" that would kind of get in the way.

I spoke to ticket office Monday about season tickets. I am looking to buy my first one for me and my lad.

He quoted last years prices and said next years wont be released until the end of the month. some prices will stay the same, some will have a minute increase of no more than 1%

Now i have a question.......

As i can get tickets for my two small lads in the family stand for £15 each (season) does anyone think there is a good area in what is a pretty naff choice in T U W blocks.

I have sat in all 3 this season (as well as south stand which would be 1st choice if money was no issue)

Thinking about something 10 rows back in U. Any ideas?
