Think Leicester paid around 1.2m for him tho. He can play anywhere in defense, plenty of championship experience and hes not a midget! Would much rather add him to the squad than Jara Reyes.

He was a Peterborough player when Barry Fry let C4 do that documentary about the manager (can't remember his name). He's obviously grown up a lot, but I didn't come away with a positive impression of St Ledger after that..............although on the plus side, its another double barrelled player.....we may not be the best team in the league, but we're assembling the poshest named squad.

I remember that old documentary about Peterboro when hr was playing for them. He posseses an absolute shocker of an attitude, didnt help Preston out too much, and has now fallen out with Leicester. Id be gutted if we sign him.

If you can't see that St. Ledger is a quality player, you're obviously the clueless one in this equation.
The only reason not to sign him would be the attitude problems. If Leicester are getting rid because of his bad attitude, then yeah, it'd be a risky signing, but he is a class above any of our CB's bar Greer.

why would we want someone elses cast off? Clutching at straws springs to mind! Dont be so eager to get the first transfer listed guy that comes your way.
Bridcutt was a Chelsea "cast off". Bennett was a Wolves "cast off". Pretty sure most of our players are "cast-off" from other clubs.

if we were to sign St Ledger it would be a classic signing, he'd be useful in the upcoming local derby although he'd cost us more than a few guineas. some of the (f)oaks on NSC will still complain though.
