The bus we catch smells of diesel, sways all over the place and makes terrible noises reversing and braking

yes ours was the same........though ours was sooooo slow it couldn't make it up the hills and the clutch was burning out. It is so old its like something out of "on the buses"

Ours is old, and does sometimes struggle up hills.

But it gets there in plenty of time, gets back in a reasonable time, and I don't have to worry about anything apart from getting to and from the bus stop, so I'm not in the least bit worried

Had no problems and would recommend them! Coaches I've used have been fine, one was even kind of futuristic with a display that showed the coaches speed, temperature inside and outside. For £7 return to lancing it's a no brainer, especially after evening games!
