I lived in Sherwood road....small world innit;-)

We use to make go karts and ride them down a steep hill towards a pond. When I lived in Sherwood Road the road wasn't even made up it was dangerous . Must go and have a look around the old place.

Couldn't do that now as there's a small chain fence around its periphery.

I seem to remember that pond was pretty perfect for me to fall into on several occasions.

My preference would be to remain coy. But suffice it to say, if what I think is right, one was put away for fighting Leeds a few years ago.

Then got straight again and sorted his life out.

Yes that's right. Haven't lived in Seaford for ages and I'd forgotten Firle Road turns into Blatchington Hill.

Firle Road is lovely, especially the Tudor houses near the beginning. That area is a little spoilt now though with new housing. I used to love cycling down Grand Avenue aka 'the big dipper' as a kid. Can't even do that now

That's the one also it was good in the winter when it turned into an ice rink. Having trouble remembering names of roads and this thread got the grey matter churning.

I would walk past the pond on the way to school on the path next to the pond great place to ambush your friends!!!
