Only if you don't get hypothermia, I understand that there are great health benefits to be had from bathing in something that is warm and salty!!!

I prefer the sea, although sea temp runs about 3 mths behind so it'll be pretty chilly right now.

One year i managed a dip right through the summer and every month through to january and the sea temp is often warmer than air temp. It helped that, at that time, i was using the gym on the front (Riptide) so was able to shower and change straight after. my 7.00am dip in January brought some classic looks from those hurrying by!

As I work quite near West street I hope to get down for a lunchtime dip some day but I'm not quite the Addonis i once was and don't want to scare the kids!

Yes all year round, but in a wetsuit.

The salt water is good for healing, but with the amount of bacteria in the sea you're just as likely to get some kind of sickness.

Yep - Arthur and I were there this fine morning, before 11am of course - not so stupid anymore as to risk the mid day sun in any corner of the globe!!

Fresh was the word that came to mind for us!!
