It seems our Northern friends are staying at the Metropole tonight......if anyone happens to be passing that way later tonight and feels a bit mischievious after a few bevvies maybe a inpromptu fire alarm would ensure they are not so fresh for the game tomorrow!

I'm on duty tonight.

I shall do my utmost to ensure they are not disturbed by gangs of rowdy drunks shouting, screaming, singing, brawling, queuing-for-the-nightbus or anything else of that nature.

Similarly, I will of course ensure that if I am called to deal with any events in that part of town, I will deal with the participants in a calm, quiet and respectful tone of voice, and not in any way cause the peace to be disturbed.

Remember, kids, setting off fire alarms without due cause is strictly speaking, an offence.

Accidentally being a little noisy or getting lost and forgetfully walking into a hotel as you walk home from the pub, however, isn't

If Scunthorpe stay at the Metropole, where will Manchester City stay? The Royal Pavilion perhaps

Joking aside, I did actually see them check in today. I was behind Nigel Adkins in the que at reception and overheard him say sternly "I hope all the porn channels are disabled".

Incredible what some people are into, innit.

....couldn't you just leave that siren thingy on a bit longer than normal if you happen to be in the vicinity of said hotel?

With a bit of luck that will BE the Scunthorpe team. Can't imagine that they're booked into the Metropole and they'll all be tucked up in bed with a cup of cocoa by 10pm.

With a bit of luck they'll go DRINK-MENTAL tonight :drunk:
