whats with the Kuipers hating going on, don't fall down to the level of the henderson out brigade.

Flinders is a better keeper but really don't think you find a better 2nd keeper in the league. Personally hope he signs a new contract and sees out his career here.

I could have kept a clean sheet in most of those games though.

I think this is 5 managers now who have indicated that Kuipers isn't good enough to be first choice keeper. I have no problem with him being on the bench as long as his die hard fans dont get on the back of the keeper that is No.1. Somehow though I dont trust the Kuipers fans to do that though so I think its best if he goes.

Why do you think that Mr Bubble?

According to one of Kuipers' biggest fans

I think this is 5 managers now who have indicated that Kuipers isn't good enough to be first choice keeper.

Which would mean that Kuipers has spent a large part of his albion career playing second fiddle or, being dropped. So I guess you must be basing it on the all the times that Kuipers has handed a transfer request in after being dropped?

Or are you just being a bit of a petty nobcheese?

Good decision. We're not 100% safe yet so play Flinders tillw e 're asfe and then the last 3 or 4 games give to Sullivan. If Sullivan does well then Kuipers can go. If not, then Kuipers gets a new contract.

I am not anti Kuipers but the worst game at Withdean this season against Blackpool was with Kuipers in goal. :(

In fairness, the whole team was utter shite that day, so you can't really point the finger at any one person (with the possible exception of M. Frutos).

Oh God, I can't stand this any more.

*bangsheadagainstwall*

As we speak, Flinders has the shirt and is playing well.

That's all there is to it, and he deserves our unequivocal support until such time as the situation changes, and that's from all of us, even those of you who'd happily let your wives sleep with Kuipers.

Scott Flinders is a very good keeper and I expect he will one day play for England. But he is unlikely to be with us next season so I am a bit surprised by this. Would like Sullivan get a game before the end of the season.
Agreed. He looks a good keeper but our own keeper who will probably be here next season is fit now.

Aaaarrrggh! It doesn't matter about next season at this stage, does it? Kuipers isn't some youth team player who badly needs the experience, so who cares if he has a few games in the reserves.

Ned is playing well, so I'm happy with that, I just think some people should give him a break and support him while he's here.

Well in that case, I'm converted.

Bring the young lad Kuipers back in immediately, he needs to gain some experience in the first team.

FFS I could understand your argument if you were saying Sullivan should be given a run, but the "next season" case simply doesn't stand up with Kuipers.

Sorry to butt in here but surely the writing is on the wall for Kuipers as i understand he is now fit and playing for your reserves, but Wilkins still gets Flinders in for another month. Numbered days his are spring to mind.

Sssshhhh! Don't say that on here!

Some people get very upset at the prospect of The Great Kuipers not being around.

In fact I'd guess you'll be getting death threats to your mobile and parcels of cat crap being delivered through your front door even for THINKING that

Nothing against him as a person I just dont think he's a good player. I want him to leave because I dont think we are safe with him in goal. Im of the opinion that Wilkins now (along with a long line of ex Brighton managers) agrees with me. Kuipers is fit, yet we have decided to spend money on loaning a keeper from another club. If, in our position Wilkins was happy with Kuipers as a keeper Flinders would not be staying another month.

Exactly what I said earlier on this thread. Why would we be paying money for a loan keeper if we had a keeper the gaffer was confident in fit & ready to play. Kuipers is gone end of the season.
