Presumably the kids in this school were exposed to his far-right views, which is of course unacceptable -

you are a certain type of cock if you think UKIP are a far right organisation

i hope people like you keep on thinking like this though, you are a great recruitment tool for UKIP

Out of interest do you know 5 UKIP policies that are far right?

ill let you go for 3.....but try 5 just for fun

Ridiculous isn't it. Honestly it's wasted energy.

I quite like this site, and looking at this analysis from 2010 there aren't any parties further right.

Depends on your definition of 'far' of course

I think the point in these kind of discussion is that left and right just don't give you the options you need to describe politics.

The first paragraph was an extreme example of how we can be objective about morality and ethics in politics.

The proof with UKIP is in the pudding, their policies. Some examples:

Equality

Abolish inheritance tax
Flat rate tax % for all
More grammar schools
Oppose gay marriage
Greater rights for indigenous British people

The environment

Support coal-fired power and oppose wind farms
More nuclear power stations
Scrap all subsidies for renewable energy
Repeal the hunting ban

Peace

Increase military spending by 40%, double the size of the TA and increase total armed forces numbers by 25%
Buy three new aircraft carriers and 50 more Lightning fighter jets
Arm four new submarines with US nuclear missiles
Greater celebration of the armed forces

Freedom

Double prison capacity
Harsher prison sentences
People who don't work can't vote
Scrap the human rights act
Franchise out key services including hospitals and GP surgeries
Create voucher system to allow people to opt out of NHS system entirely.

The list goes on, but none of this is surprising. This is what far-right politics is and has always been.
Please would you mind directing me to a link for these policies.

Thanks.

Presumably the kids in this school were exposed to his far-right views, which is of course unacceptable - it would be interesting to hear the school's side of the story, because if this was the case it is understandable why he was asked to resign.

Could you give an example? I'm interested to know what you mean here.

However if he is simply a UKIP voter, it is ridiculous - freedom of political opinion is so important to society, even if it's wrong.

Rather than presuming, and throwing in accusations which at the moment are speculation and could have been aired immediately, let's wait until after the weekend when the school can get their story straight or not.

It bothers me how dishonest you are able to be. You seem to think of yourself as quite an ethical person, but your closed mindedness and misrepresentations of things to suit your prejudices frustrates me, in the same way neo-cons used to frustrate me. No different. Your politics is not neo-con, but your honesty with others and yourself is.

Did this story simply die a death?

I can't find any links to a follow up, statement from the school, further comment…

Was it just a case of a doddery old councillor looking for a bit of limelight, or a politically biased school? ???

You start off condemning somebody of presuming, then end with 'when the school can get their story straight or not'

Sort of suggests you are presuming the school is at fault?

Checked the local paper yesterday when we were talking about it..just says there will be an investigation, so I would imagine
nobody will be making any statements until after the investigation.
