I've just remembered the only time I thought I saw a ghost and how I reacted. I woke up randomly in the middle of the night, still groggy and I am quite short-sighted. I'd hung a white shirt over a open wardrobe door and the combined effect of the street light shining through the open curtain onto it and my drowsy state made it look like an old white woman was coming out of the wardrobe staring at me I kinda stared for a bit in horror then went "GET OUT! GO ON, f*** OFF!" and hurled my alarm clock at "her"

Funny how most people's gut reaction is nearly always violence

Is it funny? Its just natural, I wouldn't expecting anything else as a gut reaction.

The best part was my girlfriend at the time who woke to find me screaming and hurling objects at a shirt then spent the next 4 hours terrified and crying and refusing to believe there was no ghost.
