Scariest 'supernatural' experience?

I've just had a first really freaky experience. Driving home tonight exiting the Shoreham tunnel where the road goes dark, I glanced in my rear view mirror which was dipped. For a split second, I thought I saw the face of a fair haired man in the mirror, probably about 19'ish. I did a double take and in the next second it had gone. It really quite shook me. I thought I might be imagining it, but I saw it clearly. Nothing like that has ever happened to me before.

I wonder if the 'apparition' was a figment of my imagination or perhaps somebody who had died at that spot in the past?!

Has anyone else had anything like this ever happen to them before.

Driving home one night from cricket practice, we where on the bypass near sheepcote valley, and someone crossed the road and touched our car. Really shooked us up, and the next day the radio reported of someone going missing.

rumour has it if you drive over the rocky lane bridge between burgess hill and haywards heath at midnight, then you can see the face of a person who jumped off it in your mirrors. scary stuff

  • Not making eye contact with you in a meeting, but making eye contact with everyone else;
  • Walking into a social situation and reaching to shake another’s hand but brushing by you; not giving you the same level of interaction;
  • Engaging with others in conversation, asking them questions, perhaps joking around, then being tight lipped, formal and professionally polite for appearances sake, but by no means displaying the connect-ability they have toward others, toward you.
  • Leaving you out of email loops, formal information sharing and informal information sharing.
