I think the Facu prediction is way off the mark currently.

I had high expectations on all three pre season but I fear Sarmiento and Enciso are likely to go. Facu was doing well until Horse face rocked up at Leicester.

Can't see Buonanotte going anywhere.
He's ready IMO.

Enciso's loan at Ipswich proved he will never be the player we need him to be.

Sarmiento will probably be sold to a Championship club for a couple of million and a chunky sell on percentage. He's demonstrably a good option, but not a starter, for promotion chasing sides and chips in with a few goals.

He'd be a starter at a mid table side, but how much money do those clubs actually have to spend?

Similarly Moran will go for not very much money, considering his poor reviews for Stoke this season.

Shame, as these two were really tipped for big things not long ago. It shows how tough it is to make it for these lads. And why we shouldn't be putting too much pressure on the likes of Howell and Simmonds.

I tend not to get too excited about the hype and just hope that a fair few of them, make the grade and not too many slip through our fingers.

Both have now had two seasons out on loan in The Championship without pulling up any trees. Time to move them on. Can't see us making a great deal of money on either of them.

Yes true.

Sometimes it's worth appreciating just what an achievement it is to make it as a professional footballer at Championship level.

Sure, they haven't made it with us but Sarmiento, Moran, Molumby, Alzate, Roberts and doubtless several other young talents that I've forgotten, are all playing regularly at this level having come through (at least partially) our youth setup. Maybe Leonard, Cochrane, Longman and Offiah might join them next season too.

True - and he has surprised us all. He was still well ahead of Moran though, and I think Sarmiento is handicapped by needing a place where we're somewhat over-crowded - he'd likely be behind a lot of others.

I think you're right on Sarmiento... he's just not going to get a place. However, I would argue that Moran's loan spells have both been better than Ayari's were. Doesn't mean he'll have Ayari's success of course, but I've learnt not to write players off based on their loan spells

Sarmiento had 6 goal involvements with Ipswich in just over 700 minutes in the Championship. I think there is talent there.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up. I think his time in England is up. A club like USG would be a good fit.

Sarmiento hasn’t let himself down, he was never that great.
We have to move people of his level on, or it risks freezing out the Harry Howells of this world.
A couple of million and a sell on clause should do it.
