It's conceivable we'll have £65 mill quartet Izquierdo, Ali J, Bissouma and Locadia all missing from Saturday's line-up, £20 mill of talent out on loan (Clarke, Tau, McAllister) and £20 mill Webster on the bench. Yes. A thousand times yes. But then I'd get rid of Stephens anyway. I lost all respect for him when he pitched in his transfer request, bleated on twatter when he didn't get his own way, then, shockingly, decided to stay when he actually got the sniff of the big time he craved. He's already moved out of his Belgian apartment and has wanted a move all summer, think we may have a chance but only if a bigger club offering Europa/CL football doesn't swoop in last minute, like he's been waiting for. Mooy will be the backup option.
