More concerned about the 87th minute equaliser to be fair?

Sit on a one goal lead for 45 mins and that's what often happens. It seems from the commentary we didn't have a plan B today, someone who was at the game will no doubt correct me if that's wrong.

I think to be frank ... it was Tranmere who changed at half time. First half we were all over them and I expected us to bury them in the second.
But they came out of the blocks and closed us right down ... high pressure football and we never got the passing going and ended up hoofing long balls for Murray and Barnes and we lost far too many tackles.
IMHO first half we should have been 3-0 and second half we could have lost 3-0 ... I was surprised Gus didn;t take Barnes off earlier to give us a 5 man midfield

Two balls off the post and a nailed on penalty against us turned down ( so said Nobby). We did well to come away with a point in the end it seems

Gus just said he doesn't think we currently have a 25 goal a season striker.

Pretty encouraging tho that there's a number of players contributing to the goals tally. Makes it that much harder for the opposition to identify and neutralise the main threat on goal.

We're picking up points due to the defence rather than the strikers at present.

I'd be quite happy to have another Zamora as a main threat, because opposing defences had no answer to him, but those type of signings from other teams reserves are very rare.

Totally agree to be honest, the game should have been dead and buried but they played much wider in the second half and pushed our full backs further back, IMO a draw was a fair result as this really was a game of two halves.
I thought Lewis Dunk had a pretty solid game for us today which is also really encouraging he tried to pass the ball and I didn't see him give it away to them to often, Sandaza needs match fitness and we all know you only get that by playing but personally I don't think Murray or Barnes warrant dropping as they are both doing okay, as has been said before, we were away to a team that we haven't done to well against in the past and completely played them off the park in the first half, just trust in Gus, let's face it, he's not doing to badly is he.
