San Andreas update

I was sent the soundtrack last week - the 2xCD/DVD edition and the 8xCD fully monty.

Going back to the game next week after briefly flirting with FM2005, Half-Life 2, Killzone etc.

I did all the storyline missions 2 weeks ago. I restarted the game last week with the aim of doing it 100% and i've found that it's all the annoying side-mission things that are really annoying.

Do a "job" on some mafia types in Liberty City? No problem.
Race a ZR-350 cross-country? No problem.
Pilot a Harrier jump-jet? No problem>
Race a bike down Mount Chilliad against a bunch of stoners? No f*cking chance!

I blame the ill-fitting shorts myself. That and the amazing ability I have for crashing into barriers and falling over. I even blocked the track with a camper van and although it knocked all the other racers off their bikes, it also distracted me and caused me to fall off the bike. Again.

Anyone else been to "Wheel Arch Angels" in San Fierro and got their car modded up? You can take 6 of the Japanese cars there and get 'em decked out in true "Fast and Furious" style. Unfortunately I can never drive the cars after i've decked them out in gaudy colour schemes and huge spoilers, for fear of some spanner in a taxi hitting me at a junction.

when you get to San fierro, the bastard of all missions will appear the name is Zero he a complete idiot and the missions are so bloody hard. But the best news is you dont have to do his missions because they are not part of the story. Buy his shop for $3,000 dollars and then do Air raid now that is bloody hard. You can do it but you dont have to its just for your percentage.

Completed the story ages ago and am now slowly working through the guide for my 100%. Got all of the gang tags and have moved on to SF to look for all of the photo points. I have about 46 out of 50 but when I go to the place in the book and can see where it should be from the picture, they are bloody there!

Scarface, did you download the update for the bradygames book from their website? They got some of the photo ops wrong

Out of interest, anyone here use a hard disk with their PS2? I've just ordered ripping software.

Finished all the storyline missions, currently on about 70% working towards 100%!
