Congratulations to Albion youngster Samy Chouchane who has been selected in the Tunisian squad for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina that begins on May 20 (the competition that Facundo Buonanotte will not be playing in).

To be honest, after he signed a contract extension, I was expecting him to go out on loan in January.

Perhaps he's being kept around by RDZ for extra depth, perhaps he might go on loan abroad to somewhere that the window is still open.

Forgot about him (sorry Samy!) - was looking for/hoping for loans for the likes of Samuels, Hinchy (both got one ) and Offiah () - but yeh, a loan for Chouchane would have been good, I think.
Oh well, maybe he'll do a Hinshelwood between now and the end of the season - that would be nice...............................
