I am due my upgrade in a month or so and I am very much in the Samsung camp, but I'm not sure I need the S3, is there any real reason to get the S3 rather than the S2? I can't see that it does anything extra I would actually need and it seems very big and bulky.

Done my research and it shows it is the quickest browser around comes with all the perks such as S-Voice and it has S-Beam which makes it easier transferring things from one device to another and it has a lot more perks than the s2 does with out a doubt

You would be welcome to play around with mine if you so wish. Maybe might teach you a little bit more than the in-store ones.

I have one but have nothing to compare it to.

I bought it simply because it's big and just big enough to use instead of a PC "on the road" - for certain tasks and still fit in your pocket.

I can just about view a spreadsheet.

You can just about view movies. I watched a couple on a plane recently.

Do like the Tapatalk for NSC it must be said. This is the first time I've posted on through a normal PC since I bought it.

It's OK. I upgraded from my s2 and was disappointed, not that much of a step up and a bit buggy IMO.

Seagulls World IS NOT a good experience through it - but that's a lot to do with the way the site has been designed.

I tend to use Opera for that and not the default browser.

In fact of all the websites I visit regularly that's the only one that really annoys.

However after a bit of struggle - I've listened to both the last away games with the phone in my pocket. Last week in a garden centre in Morden.

The speaker at the back is rubbish, terrible if you feel the need to use it.

Nothing compares to the stereo sound of my old Nokia N95 8GB. Cranked it up the other day and was still amazed by the sound.

However (although I have nothing to compare it to) the screen is very very good and I understand getting a lot of good reviews.

Download an HD film to see it at its best.

Haven't got round to see how good the quality is played back through a TV yet but will get round to it.

It is great in lots of ways...but does anyone else have the weird capital I problem? They sometimes appear in the middle of words and I can't get rid of them without starting again...just 'i'

I wouldn't use any of those aspects, which is why I'm not sure it's really for me personally. A mate of mine has one and was showing me a first person shooter game which looked fantastic, the graphics were very impressive and the processing of the whole game was slick and effortless but I wouldn't go anywhere near those games and almost everything he said suggested it might not be worth my while. My brother has an iPhone and never uses anything on it other than the texts, I don't see the point of that and I don't want to make the same mistake with an S3. I'm sure I'd grow to love it, I see it records videos in HD and the camera looks pretty handy.

I might take you up on that BoF, and the offer of tennis if you're still keen? If so, shall we revert to PM sir...

Yes! I discovered that today. Hoping there will be some sort of fix for that. Doesn't really matter, but looks a little cack on emails.

Some of the aspects of the phone may seem un-useful but you never know what will come in handy if you have it infront of you, i havnt got the phone but edging towards getting it definitely. out of 10 ratings?
