Pork pie land.
Sorry if fixtures - but I could not spot anything about this amongst all the usual summer time shite on here at the moment.

From Coventry Telegraph:

BRIGHTON and Millwall are keen on signing former Coventry City captain Sammy Clingan, according to national reports.

The Northern Ireland international left the Ricoh Arena earlier this month after his three-year deal expired with the Sky Blues.

The out-of-contract midfielder is now wanted by Championship sides Brighton and Millwall, reports Mirror Football writer James Nursey on Twitter.

Spotted it on line.

He has been mentioned before (a couple of weeks back?)* Good player even if, as prospects go, he is solid and reliable rather than exciting - a "will do a good job" rather than "the last piece in the jigsaw". Reminds me a bit of Crofty so I guess while he is the sort of player you would be happy to have in your squad, the question is whether he is a player to take us on to the next level?

* found the original thread - a good bit further back sorry pork pie - nothing better to do this morning than Homes Under The Hammer and NSC

Pork pie land.
I thought I would bounce this, just on the off-chance that someone on here was actually interested in The Albion at the moment, and were interested.

Horley
What some of the Cov fans say about him

Who cares!

Looks like one of those are going to be relegated this season then

Attracting all the big clubs then. Then again after his form he probably doesn't even deserve the likes of Millwall

I have just read that Port Vale have the widest pitch in the football league - this might be the best fit for your man

Best news all summer , poor captian and overrated footballer . Glad he's gone as he was missing in most of the games last season he played in

We are in limbo, speculation without some sort of foundation is not really that interesting at this time of year as players and managers seem to be on holiday until July time. So my interest in the Albion is on hold until something is flagged by someone of Bozza's ilk or speculation via the Argus.

Have to say a player from Coventry doesn't fill me with excitement, how times have changed

I am, however, looking forward to the days pre season when I stop working and keep pressing "refresh" on NSC. I fecking loved the day we signed CMS and the day Edna legged it airside at Gatwick to see if Kazenga really was on the flight from Newcastle, following a rumour on here.
