According to the Football league manager's website, he's 75th.
I didn't check it thoroughly, other than a quick scan that Dougie Freedman wasn't above him anywhere.

The league manager's association have Louis Van Gaal above Sami.
The issue is that they have taken the date he was announced by Man Utd (19/05/14) rather than the date he officially took charge (16/07/14). I don't know why they did that with him, because they have Stuart Pearce down as the date he took charge (01/07/14) rather than when he was announced (03/04/14)

It's frightening how quickly the clubs (owners and fans) demand success and aren't willing to allow managers time to build a squad - win or bust.
Could quite easily include the Albion in that tho' already.
I'm sure it was less than 6 games in, before people were calling for Sammi's head.
I'm surprised more clubs never learnt the lesson from Man Utd, that stability, continuity and faith in a manager/project is the way forward

I completely agree - I don't see the need for quick-fire dismissals - You can see from us that having 3 managers in 3 seasons mean that there's no consistency or cohesion. I use Man Utd as a good example...it took Fergie what...6 years before he won a trophy? Also he was desperately close to the sack as well.
Patience is lost in todays game. Sadly.

I think that the overwhelming majority of Albion fans will not even be thinking that Sammi should be sacked at this moment. It's just a vocal minority - and I'm talking 3-4 people - who spend too much time posting on an Internet forum.

It's also worth adding that successful managers get snapped up by bigger clubs and don't stick around when the clubs and fans would want them to stay. You can't blame them for wanting to move on for the bigger club and bigger salary, but that's also an issue here too.
