Definetly not another gatting, but bit pissed off he's gone from us straight ot our arch rivals

They were a god damn use to us ( Well Cobbs has been out for a while) & with only 2 defeats & 1 draw in the league they've been playing with a team thats playing well which is good for their confidence at a young age, although we really shouldn't be at this level.
Gargan has played very good for us, & i wish him well, even though he had to pick those fools @ Butlins (well mostly fools, exception is worthing legend Mark Knee)

But to be fair a use to you really isn't much help to us. Its a poor league for someone who is looking to break into the first team here in the near future. Would have been better suited at somewhere like Crawley. Would have been alarmed if he hadn't scored a fair few goals in that league.

No one is slating him.
He's been brilliant at Worthing, & should hopefully make the albion 1st team within the next 2 seasons like rents did after being on-loan with us.

for sure - reckon if he continues to progress he may get a first team game at the arse end of this season unless we are in contention. Not sure if the same will be true for Gatting who seems to be struggling

Would agree that he deserves one at the end. Although this is at Ryman 1 level he is a gr8 player & one for the future @ Brighton.

Have only missed bout 6 games this season as am not old enough to drive, but we've played very well. Have a wonder winger named matt phelan we signed at the start of the season & he is one of the best players in our division. Would compare him to Dean Cox when he had a go at players cos this kid does it brilliantly.
Wouldnt be suprised if he becomes the 2nd worthing player in 2 seasons to make the jump to league football after a brill season (James Fraser, Tommy's brother who's now at Bristol Rovers was probably our best player last season)

no i dont know him , but i agree fraser is a very good winger. Even though he's only in Rovers reserves i think he'll be playing 1st team football in a season or so. Hoipefully he can be coaxed to Brighton as he'd be a real asset.

they are going about this the right way with gargan - gatting was chucked in at the deep end in the championship, and never got the chance to go on-loan and get goals at a lower level and improve as a player
as a result, he is only just getting the chance to drop down and play week-in week-out - which at 20 it could be argued is a bit late, as opposed to gargan who is now working his way up the pyramid at 18
