This sort of abuse is very Butters-esque of a few years back:(

The same people who slated Guy now buddy up to Race on here with no shame.

As far as I'm concerned its still very early days and we haven't seen much of McCammon yet.

You'd have thought after the way Guy was treated on here and how he proved everyone wrong people wouldn't be so quick to condemn?
very good point , i admit i'm guilty of slagging off both at some point , i should of learnt from the butters situation but hey ho... that is why from here on in , like i said in a previous post i'm going to be more supportive rather then slagging him off :)

If McCammon were to score the winner against Palace, home or away I'm sure it will be a different story!

I have stood by McCammon, and will continue to do so...

He has had some good games for us... especially, Sunderland...

He has played badly in a few but, as was pointed out, he was ill in many of those... also, had a back problem...

He is the best target man at the club...

He can be useful to us this season...

I am much more worried about our defence, particularly keeper, lb and a cd partner for Big Guy... we MUST sign good players in those positions BEFORE the season starts...

lol

what i meant was that his natural position is as a striker, whereas barrett is more naturally a winger

in no way saying mccammon can actually SHOOT:)

Agreed.

Mind you, some people still like to slate Charlie Oatway and he gives 100%

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
I always tend to think that since the demise of the Goldstone we as fans tend to be slightly more critical of our players than most other clubs, hardly surprising really when you look at how little resources we have, and how we rightly expect our players to give 100% as there is very often no strength in depth in most positions unlike most of our closest rivals.

I'm always staggered really at the amount of whinging that comes from the stands directed at players especially at Withdean, but I think its got worse the longer we have have been there and when you think about it there has to be something to take your frustration out on, still, it aint like the good old days when I would get a smack off the back of the head from the old man if I DARED to critisise the Albion.

Having said all that McCammon is lazy and uninterested, he is paid a great deal of money and gives NOTHING back in return, in fact he is an INSULT to our great club and the struggle it stands for over the past decade.

Not recently... he has proved he can (just about) do the business at CCC level... I have eaten humble pie on this already... still, in an ideal world, we would also invest in our central midfield... we lack creativity IMHO... however, as I said earlier, defence has to be our priority now...

If that happens then, as Les Dennis used to say, "I'll give you the money myself!"
