I was in the North Stand for the play-off match. As far as I can tell, it is already a standing area.

I was in the North stand for the games against Sheff Wed & Nottingham Forest and I can assure you it is a seating area.

Can you post a link to the club quote or document that says the concourse is at it's maximum capacity and we have reached out limit forever?

And wasn't the capacity increased by about 30% not long after?

I'm sure you'll find that the stadium design for the various concourses took into account which areas would be expanded.

I am in favour provided

1. It is DIRECTLY next to your ST seat...regardless of how inconvenient it is
