I've been to one away game this season.. (Swindon Town) Where the atmosphere of our fans was just amazing..

I got myself and my son (my 10 year old) a season ticket at xmas and he loves coming to watch the albion but i want him to experience that atmosphere that everyone keeps talking about at away games.

Which away games would you regard as "safe" and which could be laced with a bit of trouble??...

I guess Millwall away will be lively but are there any others i need to look out for??

Millwall away is about the safest you can get to be honest.

Take him to Luton away in the Paint Pot.

Should be a good turn out, free travel, he gets in free with you (£12) and its half term. What more could you want?

Would be good for your young son to get a really good experience for his first away game watching the Albion.

Such as going to Wembley this year!! So maybe wait and see?

If that does not happen, why not take him to Millwall or Orient game and spend the morning doing some sight-seeing around London before the game?

About four years ago I took my younger daughter (then aged 8) and one of her school friends to Millwall. We even walked back to Canada Water tube station afterwards. No problem at all.

The only trouble I've experienced at Millwall was having bricks thrown at us when waiting for the train to London Bridge.

Word. If you get the train you basically get seperated from the Millwall fans fromn LB station to the ground, seperate enterances etc. Never seen any trouble there.

Orient usally gets a good BHA turnout and atmosphere.

How do you get seperated from them at London Bridge as all fans get the train to South Bemondsey.

I think he meant from Bermondsey to London Bridge, because the last time I went we were surrounded by Millwall fans from London Bridge to the game.
