Sad news from Sussex CCC

Really shocked, I cannot believe he will not be bowling from the sea end or down the hill from the Cromwell Road end this year. Absolute tragedy, not a lot one can say will leave a big hole in the families and everyone in the clubs lifes.

Sussex Cricket have opened a Book of Condolence at Hove for those wishing to pay their respects to Matthew Hobden.
The link below also shows pictures of his image being shown on the big score board and links to the email if anyone wants them added to the book of condolence

Matthew sadly passed away on Saturday at the age of 22. His playing shirt and cap has been displayed in the Club Shop at Hove and supporters are invited to lay flowers in Matthew’s memory and sign the Book of Condolence.

The Club Shop at Hove is open between 9.00am and 5.00pm on weekdays.
