No Chris Mcphee is one of the very few positives this season.

McPhee ran his heart out today (despite falling over a couple of times)

Sack the whole team & give Bristol City the points next week as we won't have assembled a new team within 7 days

Yeah right

Well said Yorkie! It takes the rational thinking of a woman to expose the knee-jerk reactions of men!

how many people over the last few seasons when we got promoted and relegated wanted to sack the team ?
And then most of them didn't even watch a game.

I haven’t managed to see a game since Wednesday at home, so haven’t seen at first hand our recent slump.

But hopefully the poor form after Coppell left was similar to what other clubs go through (indeed Reading suffered after Pardew went to West ham) and we will soon be back to winning ways.

We know these players are good players and they have proved that in recent seasons. We had an excellent start to the season and they won’t have become bad players over night. Hopefully the dip in results is just due to lacking a little bit of confidence and some of the key players not being inform. As the set of players we have will soon regain their form and then will be able to start picking up results which in turn will breed confidence again. McGhee bringing in some new faces to freshen things up would also probably help.

The lapse in form has coincided with the return of Danny Cullip. Or rather the few of the better games this season have occurred when Danny Cullip was injured.

Just an observation. I think Danny Cullip is a bot over-rated, a bit slow, but his presence and reading of the game seem a bit ahead of the rest.

I think it is a good job we got rid of Steve Coppell.

and a striker to play next to Knight

what the f***????

i despair sometimes!!!

mcphee and knight are the ONLY positives this season. mcphee has been different class in the majority of his games and has score 7 goals in 10? 12? games. and he works his heart out!

its the midfield that needs sorting.

as it did last year, the season before that, and the season before that.
